Last weekend saw a quick shift up the motorway with 4 dogs to show at SKC. This year the Sibes were on a Friday as the Show had moved to three days. The day seemed to lack something, don’t know if the Friday entry was down (Sibes certainly had a normal size entry) but on Saturday the normal SKC buzz was back.
Juno placed 2nd in Special Yearling, Patsy, as uncontrollable as ever got a 2nd in Limit, behind the RCC winner – well done Georgie & Topaz – and Toni got a 5th in Open. Patsy’s claim this time was to want to be playing hand clapping games with Kayleigh Shaw who was being aided and abetted by Ann Shaw (who really should know better at her age lol).
Bel managed a 4th in Open being handled by Stuart, she was a tad over excited to be at a Show again amongst lots of black & whites instead of surrounded by pointy huskies.
Another rapid journey home and it was lovely to have Sunday with nothing to do
